Summer Live in Nanny in Shelter Island, New York

A kind family of three is seeking a nanny for the month of August at their home on Shelter Island. This will most likely be a live-in position, due to the location, but the family is open to a live-out candidate as well. The schedule will be approximately 12:30-6:30pm, as the child is in camp during the morning hours. If a candidate needs full-time hours the family is happy to offer additional hours for date-nights and/or weekends.

Job duties for this role include everything related to the child, such as keeping his room and belongings neat and tidy, child-related laundry, and children's meal prep. The family is open to a nanny who wants to work a full-day and handle housekeeping and family laundry during the morning hours, but this is not required. This family is positive, communicative, organized, and flexible, and would love to find a nanny who shares these traits and values. The ideal candidate for this role will have a lighthearted vibe, and will have high emotional intelligence and the ability to instill this in children.
