First-time parents in Oak Park, CA are expecting a sweet baby boy mid-July and are looking to hire an amazing nanny ASAP! They have a furbaby too (one cat), so you should be pet friendly with no allergies. The general schedule is primarily Mon-Fri from 7am-7pm. They would love to have their nanny work weekends as well at the beginning while they navigate this new chapter, but are open to finding a second person if you can’t take on that many hours. Rate is $30-35/hr gross depending on more experience.

You will be responsible for all things baby-related, and also comfortable helping around the house when there’s down time. Additional non-childcare-related duties will include running errands, grocery shopping, preparing simple meals for the parents, and managing household inventory (ensuring they don’t run out of anything). The family travels to their native Texas every few months and would love to bring their nanny with, please be comfortable traveling (both domestic and international) for a max of 7-10 days.

The ideal candidate is calm, patient, nurturing, easygoing, confident, with strong newborn/infant experience! These hip, fun parents love a good party and MaryJane is a frequent attendee; while they don’t want their nanny smoking on the job please be comfortable around it. All candidates must be fully vaccinated and boosted for Covid, Tdap and willing to get an annual flu shot.
