A busy, dual-physician family of four located in Hudson, Ohio is seeking a nurturing, loving nanny to care for their two daughters, ages 3 & 7-months-old. Care will primarily be for the 7-month-old, as the oldest will be in preschool full-time.
Their easy-going 7-month-old is a happy, giggly baby who enjoys playing on the floor and interacting with others. Her outgoing older sister is active and likes to play outside, color, and play dress-up. She attends preschool full-time. As a family, they enjoy going to parks, spending time outside, going to patio style restaurants, swimming, hiking in the national park, and going to the Children’s Museum. The family has two high-energy, friendly dogs (German Shorthaired Pointers), so please comfortable around pets.
This position is ideal for the candidate who is attentive, knowledgeable, energetic, dependable, and passionate about playing an integral role in the growth of a child’s early stages of development. This role is heavily childcare focused.
Requirements:
· Minimum of 3 years of recent, professional, paid childcare experience
· High school diploma
· Valid driver’s license & reliable vehicle
· At least 21 years of age
· Currently fully COVID-19 vaccinated & boosted
· Note: All adults are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and the children are scheduled to be vaccinated but have not yet completed the series.
Schedule:
The schedule is full-time, guaranteeing 35 hours/week. The general schedule will fall on Mondays & Fridays for 7 hours/day between 8am-5pm and Wednesdays and Thursdays between 7am to 5:30pm. There may be an occasional Tuesday, with advanced notice. Optional weekend hours will be available, if desired.
Compensation:
The family is offering $24-$28/hour, based on 35 hours/week which equates to $840-$980/week and an annualized base compensation package of $45,760-$51K/year.
All rates are commensurate with experience, credentials, longevity with past employers, and level of completed education.
Benefits:
The family is open to providing benefits including a $100/month healthcare stipend, paid time off, and mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate (62.5 cents/mile) for on-the-job travel.
