Nanny needed in Bedford , New York

About the job

A kind family in Bedford, NY is seeking a part-time to full-time live-out nanny for their daughter (who is 10-months-old) to begin in July, August, or September. The schedule would start as Tuesday and Wednesday from 9am-5pm and from Thursday 3pm-11pm or 1pm-9pm. The job will eventually go full-time in September 2023 or immediately to full-time for the perfect fit candidate who desires this.



The family is thoughtful and respects the nanny-family relationship. They would love for the nanny to be Passport-ready to travel at times and be comfortable with staying with the baby when the parents travel. They desire someone who is not rigid as the family is more laissez-faire and easygoing. They would appreciate if the candidate understood the Montessori method and the "following the child" concept when it comes to growth, play, and education. Bonus if the candidate to hire is musically-inclined especially with piano as the baby is showing interest in music. Taking the baby to classes as well would be a part of the duties, so being a safe and licensed driver with a clean record is necessary.



The family has a mini Bernedoodle dog so you must be comfortable with pets. The family prefers if the candidate to hire is COVID vaccinated, but it is not a necessity.
