A laid-back, on-the-go family of four in Westerville, OH is seeking an active, engaged nanny to care for their two sons, ages 3 & 18-months-old.



Their high-energy 3-year-old son is playful, loving, and sweet. He likes to play outside and at playgrounds. He enjoys playing with cars, trains, and construction vehicles. He attends preschool three days/week He will be attending preschool at a minimum 3 days/week beginning this Autumn. Their strong, independent 18-month-old son enjoys following his brother’s lead and playing with the same things he enjoys! He is starting to babble and is full of love and smiles! This family just relocated to the Columbus area from Chicago. They love to be on-the-go and are adventurous. They enjoy jumping in the car and going on day trips. They would much rather be out and about than at home. They enjoy traveling, typically one big trip a year (they frequent Hawaii), and two or three smaller trips throughout the year. They hope to find a nanny who is open to traveling with them.



This position is ideal for the candidate who is passionate about the early stages of preschool and toddlers and is skilled at incorporating fun, creative, engaging activities. The family hopes to work with a candidate who is active, engaging, and who values open communication. This role is heavily childcare focused.



Requirements:

· Minimum of 3 years of recent, professional, paid childcare experience

· High school diploma

· Valid driver’s license & reliable vehicle

· At least 21 years of age



Schedule:

The schedule is full-time guaranteeing 40 hours/week, with the general schedule falling on Mondays through Fridays. Please note: Tuesdays through Thursdays from 8:30am to 6pm and Mondays and Fridays from 10am to 4pm, subject to change with advanced notice. Flexibility to work an occasional weekend, with one-month advanced notice, will be asked and appreciated. The ability to travel with the family will also be asked and appreciated.



Compensation:

The family is offering $22-$25/hour, based on 40 hours/week which equates to $880-$1,000/week and an annualized base compensation of $45,760-$52,000/year.



All rates are commensurate with experience, credentials, longevity with past employers, and level of completed education.



Benefits:

The family is open to providing benefits including a performance-based bonus after 90 days, a $150 monthly healthcare stipend, generous paid time off, paid major holidays, and mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate (62.5 cents/mile) for on-the-job travel.
