A Relaxed & Fun Family is looking to hire a Friendly & Caring Nanny to join their home in Watermill, NY in The Hamptons!

The Ideal Candidate: This family Is looking for an energetic, flexible, fun Nanny for their three kids – a 4-year-old girl, a 3-year-old boy, and a 1-year-old girl. Their oldest girl will be attending camp for 6 weeks (from 9 am to 12 pm) during the summer and then starting Pre-K in September from 9 am to 2:30 pm. Their son goes to Kidz Therapy with Dad 3 times a week (approx. 10 am to 1 pm) during the summer (helping with language delay) and in September he will be attending school as well, from 9 am to 2 pm. The little one will be home all day and will be the main priority for the Nanny during the time when the older ones are at camp/school – taking trips to the park, playing and engaging with her, feeding her breakfast and lunch, etc. When the older ones are home in the afternoon, you may be helping with snacks, playing with the kids, etc. Mom is a stay-at-home mom and is in & out during the day but is also available to help and will sometimes switch between the little one and the 2 older ones so there may be some times where you would be dropping off and picking up the older kids or staying home with the little one while mom does that. Flexibility is key! Dad also works from home but is in and out and in the summer/nice weather months tends to work outside. Someone comfortable having both parents at home some of the time is important!

What Works Best for Family: The ideal candidate will be positive with a happy, warm, and friendly demeanor. A safe driver is essential! Someone who has a cooperative attitude and is comfortable having parents in the home on a regular basis. A Nanny with plenty of energy to keep up with the kids and enjoy their days with this fun, easy-going family is a great match! Mom described the oldest girl as loving to play with dolls & princesses and can also be active, and loves anyone who will play with her. Their boy follows the lead of his older sister and will warm up to anyone she does. He has some language delay but is very communicative and knows how to ask for what he needs. He is also an active boy and loves playing in his playroom and outside so someone who can communicate with him and be active and engaged with him is best. The youngest girl, is "a dream" – she's a very easy-going baby, loves her crib, takes one nap during the day, and is a really relaxed, happy baby. An excellent communicator who is easy-going with a low-stress personality works best for this family. They would love someone who is open to working one night/week for a mom & dad date night and someone who wants to travel with them on family trips! Someone who is flexible, adaptable, and fun, and who wants to be with a wonderful, caring, and relaxed family in return will thrive in this role for years to come.
