Family Syllabus: A wonderful family moving to Laguna Beach in August is looking for a positive, team player nanny to help care for their two lively young girls, ages 3 years and 1 year old. The family would like a nanny mostly dedicated to their younger daughter during the week and happy to care for both daughters during the weekend shift. The family currently has another nanny who will work mostly with their older daughter. They are seeking a nanny who has experience working with multiples, enjoys being creative, and coming up with a variety of age-appropriate, educational games and activities. Both parents work in the home and the family travels for up to two weeks at a time and would like to take the nanny with them. Please be an animal lover as the family has a pet and be conscious of a food allergy within the home.

Ideal Candidate: Their ideal candidate is kind, thoughtful, has experience working with toddlers and preschools, and understands early childhood development and milestones. The nanny would ideally start working with the family in Tahoe from August 1-14, and then continue working in Laguna Beach until March of 2023. At this time, the family will move into their permanent home in Newport Coast. Nannies that enjoy active playtime, games, and a variety of indoor and outdoor activities would fit right in. The family would like a nanny that is open to helping out with occasional errands, is open to travel, is very organized, and can’t wait to spend their day with two darling girls! A nanny vehicle will be provided by the family when on duty. A college degree or background in education is preferred but not required for this role.

Job Synopsis: Spend your days working on a private beach with children while also going on adventures! This family is flexible and kind and treats their nannies like part of the family. Duties for this position include engaging with the children in educational and fun activities while also tidying all child-related areas, keeping the kitchen clean after meals, and pet food prep. The schedule for this position is Tuesday through Saturday from 8 am until 5:30 pm with flexibility for one to two date nights per week. This role is paying $35-40/hour gross, with overtime, and offers paid vacation, sick days, and health insurance. Overnights and traveling of up to two weeks at a time will be needed for this position.
