Compensation: $23-$25/hr + healthcare stipend (up to $52K/year)

A fun-loving family of five, and their sweet dog, is seeking a creative, educationally-minded nanny to care for their three children in Cincinnati (Madeira), Ohio. Their daughters are 3 and 18-months-old. They also just welcomed a newborn son into the world in mid-June!




Their active 3-year-old daughter is very inquisitive and likes to read and learn. She attends preschool in the morning on Mondays through Thursdays. She enjoys helping with chores around the house, as well as with her new baby brother. She likes to play outside and enjoys new experiences. She is currently enrolled in swim lessons and plays soccer. Her younger sister has a bright personality and is a quick learner. She is always running around, climbing on things, and jumping! Her vocabulary is expanding, and she is talking more and more, every day. She follows her sisters lead and enjoys most things that she does. Both girls like art and music. Their baby brother was born in mid-June, and he is doing well! The family has a medium sized dog (Border Collie/Australian Shepard mix), so please be comfortable with pets! As a family, they enjoy staying active with the children and visiting parks, the zoo, libraries, sporting events (UC games and Reds games), and farmers markets. Their oldest daughter enjoys cooking! Dad works remotely, from home (subject to change in the future), in a separate office space, while mom works outside of the home.



This position is ideal for the candidate who brings a playful, structured, loving, and educationally-minded demeanor to their work each day. Comfortability with the infant through preschool stages will be important in this role, as the candidate will be caring for all three children. A background or interest in childhood development or Early Childhood Education and the ability to facilitate educational play and activities will be important! Responsibilities include creating a loving environment for the children to grow and thrive, light child-related housekeeping, light child-related meal preparation, and creating developmentally appropriate activities & outings.



Requirements:

· Minimum of 3 years of recent, professional, paid childcare experience

· High school diploma

· Valid driver’s license & reliable vehicle

· At least 21 years of age

· Currently fully COVID-19 vaccinated & boosted

· Note: All ​adults are fully vaccinated against COVID-19​ and the two oldest children are scheduled to be vaccinated but have not yet completed the series. ​

Schedule:

The schedule is full-time, guaranteeing 40 hours/week. The general schedule will fall on Mondays through Thursdays from 7:30am to 5:30pm.



Compensation:

The family is offering $23-$25/hour, based on 40 hours/week which equates to $920-$1K/week and an annualized base compensation package of $47,850-$52K/year.



All rates are commensurate with experience, credentials, longevity with past employers, and level of completed education.



Benefits:

The family is open to providing benefits including a monthly healthcare stipend, paid time off, and a family vehicle for professional use or mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate (62.5 cents/mile) for on-the-job travel.
