Twins Newborn Care Specialist in Bridgewater, New Jersey

Schedule: Monday through Sunday (7 nights), for 2- weeks to 1- month Hours: 10 to 12 hour shifts
Children: Newborn Twins due Early to Mid- July 2022
Compensation: $35+
Expectant parents in Bridgewater, NJ need a Newborn Care Specialist to provide overnight care and support for their soon-to-be newborn twins. The family has a 2-year-old and a dog but there will be no care needed for these two. The main focus will be 100% twin newborn care. Responsibilities will include overnight care and supervision of the babies, maintaining their laundry and bottles when there is down time, feeding babies, diaper changing, emptying diaper pail, and providing healthy sleep education and support to parents as needed. Babies will be bottle fed, therefore proficiency in making, warming, and bottle feeding is a must.

This family is ideally seeking support for 14 consistent nights but is open to a longer term based on the caregiver’s needs and the infant’s development. The ideal NCS will be someone nurturing, a team player, and supportive of parental preferences but also forthcoming with best practice knowledge. This individual should be detail oriented, intuitive, and highly communicative. Please be comfortable with dogs. The NCS will have their own room for rest adjacent to the nursery. NCS must be Covid vaccinated and boosted, also up to date on whooping cough vaccine.

Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of Newborn Care experience.
Must be authorized to work in the US.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Must be CPR & First Aid Certified.
Must have Covid-19 Vaccine, booster, and Tdap vaccine.
