Part time Nanny in Lafayette, CA

Location: Lafayette, CA, 94549
Schedule: Mondays and Wednesdays and either Tuesday or Thursday (nanny can choose) from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
Compensation: $35/hour + paid sick days, vacation days, and holidays
A very sweet family in Lafayette is looking for a nurturing and playful nanny! Most of the day will be spent with their adorable 1-year-old. The family also has an incredible 4-year-old who is in preschool until 2 pm each day.

Your duties will include simple meal preparation for the children, children’s laundry, and light housekeeping related to the children. Outside play (they have a large backyard with a playset, playhouse, water toys, etc.) and engaging in age and developmentally appropriate activities, arts and crafts, and playtime are encouraged!

The ideal candidate is kind, attentive, and loves to play. Someone knowledgeable about toddler milestones and in tune with this age group would be perfect for this family. This is a wonderful position with a great family!

Requirements:

At least 3 years of paid, professional childcare experience that occurred over the age of 18 (not for family or friends) with excellent references

Can make at least a one-year commitment

Covid vaccinated and boosted (when eligible) and flu vaccine

Valid driver’s license and a strong driving record

Legal work authorization in the U.S.

English fluency
