Part time Nanny in Fort Mill, South Carolina

Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Fort Mill, SC in finding a nanny for their two children - a 3.5 year old girl and 6 year old boy. The nanny would typically be needed Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 2:00-5:30 pm and Tuesday/Thursday from 7:30 am - 5:30 pm. The nanny would need to assist with picking the children up from school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The nanny would also need to drop off and pick up the children from school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The dad of the family travels for work and the work schedules for both parents are ever evolving, so the nanny needs to be flexible. The family would also like for the nanny to be open to traveling with them on vacation.

The best nanny for this family would be caring, loving, and kind. The family would also like someone who values education and a healthy lifestyle. They would like the nanny to prepare nutritious and balanced meals for the children. The parents value structure and they would like their nanny to keep the children on a schedule/routine. It is also important to the parents that the nanny emphasizes using manners and politeness with the children.

The children love nature and being active outdoors. They enjoy going to parks, going on hikes, playing sports, having picnics, going to the library, reading, and doing arts & crafts. The nanny would be encouraged to take the children on age-appropriate outings such as to the park and the library. The family does have a pool in their fenced-in backyard, so the nanny should be a strong swimmer and be diligent regarding water safety with the children.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

Engaging with the children on an age appropriate level

Playing with the children both inside and outside the home

Doing hands on learning activities with the children

Taking the children on age-appropriate outings

Helping the children with school work and making learning fun

Household Duties Include (Children are first priority):

Children’s laundry and changing children’s sheets weekly

Children’s meal prep

Unloading/loading dishwasher

Wiping down kitchen counters

Picking up after themselves and the children’s activities

Putting toys away

Keeping the playroom tidy

Pets: The family has a maltipoo and would like the nanny to let the dog out in the backyard as needed. If the nanny would be open to walking the dog once per day, that would be a plus.

Qualifications:

Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

Have a college degree or equivalent experience

Have a professional resume

Legal pay is offered at $22-$25 an hour, depending on experience

Continued pay while family is away
