Live out Nanny in Westchester, NY

A warm, easygoing family based in Westchester is seeking a live-out nanny for their 3 children (16-month-old twins and a 3.5-year-old). The schedule will typically be 7:30am-7:30pm (likely a little earlier most nights), Monday through Friday, with flexibility to accommodate date nights, where possible. Mom and dad are hands-on parents, but dad works in the city twice per week and the children often have conflicting schedules (camp/school, naps etc.).



Someone who can tag team with mom (who does not work) is key, and responsibilities will extend to helping with the children’s laundry and food prep. Candidates should not expect to have to manage all 3 children alone for the first year or so, but must have the confidence to care for either the twins or the toddler independently, without assistance. An educational background and a solid understanding of child development is preferred, since the twins won’t be in school for another year. Familiarity with the Montessori approach is also ideal, as mom and dad have a more relaxed parenting approach, and would love the candidate to be on the same page.



Candidates must have a clear and current driving record (a car will be provided for use on duty). Only those candidates who are fully COVID vaccinated are eligible to apply for this role.
