About the job

Location: Alamo, CA, 94507
Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
Compensation: $35/hour DOE + Overtime, paid sick days, vacation days, and holidays, and a family car to use
An amazing, easy-going family of four in Alamo is looking for a loving, cheerful, and proactive full-time nanny. Their two children are 2 and 4.5 years old. The schedule will be Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm. They would love to work with someone long-term who can build a meaningful relationship with their children.

Both children are happy, sweet, bright, and value genuine, empathetic, and caring relationships. They are silly and adventurous (they love being outside) and love books, puzzles, and art. Their 4.5-year-old will start elementary school in the fall (half days) and the 2-year-old will start preschool in early 2023.

The ideal candidate is nurturing, reliable and punctual, and truly loves caring for children. Someone energetic, playful, and who is comfortable taking the lead/planning the day and coming up with creative activities would be perfect for this family. In addition to childcare, duties include school drop-off and pick-up (the family has a car available to use), driving to classes/outings, light tidying related to the children, simple meal preparation, children’s laundry, and very light pet care for their sweet puppy. A candidate who is interested in child development and/or has preschool teaching experience is a plus; they love the idea of learning through play. The ability to swim is a plus! This is a wonderful family that truly values and considers their nanny part of the family. Don’t miss out on meeting this great family!

Requirements:
At least 4 years of paid, professional childcare experience that occurred over the age of 18 (not for family or friends) with excellent references
Can make at least a one-year commitment
Covid vaccinated and boosted (once eligible)
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Legal work authorization in the U.S.
English fluency
