Full time Nanny in Salisbury, North Carolina

Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Salisbury, NC in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 5 month old son. The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.

The best nanny for this family would be energetic yet calm and assured. The nanny should be able to provide nurturing and loving care to their son daily. The family wants a nanny who will get down on the floor and play with their child. The nanny should also encourage their child’s individual growth and development. They do not want their child to have any TV or screen time, so they are looking for an active and engaging nanny who will come up with creative activities to engage their child throughout the day. These activities would include, but not be limited to going on walks, reading to the child, playing with toys, doing developmental and sensory activities, arts and crafts, and more.

The family uses a gentle parenting approach and they would like their nanny to do the same. It would also be a plus if the nanny has knowledge or experience with using the Montessori method. Their child currently enjoys tummy time, playing with toys, going on walks, and being outside. They are also open to the nanny taking their child to activities outside of the home such as the library, park, and music classes. Their child has a dairy allergy and the nanny should be cautious as the child gets older, and starts to eat solid foods. The mom of the family will be working from home and she will travel three days out of the month.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child (feeding, changing, napping)
Engaging with the child on an age appropriate level
Playing with the child both inside and outside the home
Doing hands on learning activities with the child
Household Duties Include (Child is first priority):

Child’s laundry and changing child’s sheets weekly
Child’s meal prep (mom may try to do baby led weaning)
Cleaning bottles
Unloading/loading dishwasher
Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the child
Emptying diaper trash
Picking up toys
Qualifications:

Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience
Have a college degree or equivalent experience
Have a professional resume
Fill out a complete online application
Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency
Pass a national background check, including driving record check
Have a valid driver’s license
Have safe and reliable transportation
Have a minimum of three professional references
Be non smoking/vaping
CPR and First Aid Certified
Nanny should be fluent in English, any additional languages are a plus
Must be up to date on vaccinations including the Covid-19 vaccine and the annual Flu Vaccine.
Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

This position starts ideally July 19th 2022, but is flexible
Legal pay is offered at $20.00 an hour, negotiable depending on experience and expertise
Continued pay while family is away
