Full time Nanny in Charlotte, NC

Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the South Charlotte area in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 5 month old son. The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. The best nanny for this family would be reliable, professional, kind, and patient. The family is looking for someone who is experienced in caring for infants, and is able to provide a safe and caring environment throughout the day.

The parents are looking for a nanny who will be loving and attentive, and engage their child in age appropriate activities to encourage his growth and development. Currently their child is quite young and likes outdoor walks, floor time, playing with toys, listening to songs and music, playing in the pool (there is a pool on their floor), and other age appropriate activities. They are also open to their nanny taking their child on age appropriate outings nearby.

They are currently living in South Park in a 3 bedroom apartment, but are searching for homes nearby in South Charlotte. Their current apartment has a pool deck and patio area, and there are nearby parks. Both parents currently work from home, with dad traveling occasionally and mom eventually going into the office 2 days per week. The mom is exclusively breastfeeding currently and they are working on introducing bottles. The mom works from home, so she will be able to breastfeed the baby throughout the day as needed.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

Engaging with the child on an age appropriate level

Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

Doing hands on learning activities with the child

Household Duties Include (Child is first priority):

Child’s laundry and changing child’s sheets weekly

Child’s bottle and meal prep

Unloading/loading dishwasher and bottle washing/sanitizing

Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the child

Tidying up the nursery

Emptying diaper trash

Running errands as needed

Qualifications:

Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

Have a college degree or equivalent experience

Have a professional resume

Fill out a complete online application

Pass a national background check, including driving record check

Have a valid driver’s license

Have safe and reliable transportation

Have a minimum of three professional references

Be non smoking/vaping

CPR and First Aid Certified

It would be a plus if the nanny could swim

Nanny should be fluent in English, any additional languages are a plus

Must be up to date on vaccinations including the Covid-19 vaccine and booster, the annual Flu Vaccine, and TDAP prior to starting the position.

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

This position starts July 15th, 2022

Legal pay is offered at $20.00 an hour, and is negotiable depending on experience
