Live in or Live out Nanny in Old Tappan, NJ

OLD TAPPAN, NJ- Incredible family looking to hire a FULL-TIME LIVE-IN OR LIVE-OUT NANNY to support their amazing, high-energy, 15-year-old daughter with autism. She is a fully verbal, mobile, great kid who loves life, music, and dance. The family is seeking an energetic nanny who is able to manage specific behaviors but is also a friend and mentor. The ability to deal with a child experiencing anxiety, intellectual development limitations, and some vestibular limitations is a must! She is starting high school in the fall and is in need of a long-term mentor and nanny to become part of their family. They are looking for someone who is fun & ‘in-the-know,’ so to speak, is hands-on, flexible, and who is willing to travel to the family lakehouse or on scheduled family vacations. Strong swimmer is a must! Covid vaccine and booster are required.



Hours are 40+ per week from 4pm-bedtime M-F and full days Saturday and Sunday. Would love someone to work occasional overnights and travel with the family. Flexibility is key! Benefits are negotiable.



Living accommodations include a private bedroom and bathroom at both the home and lakehouse. They have a Goldendoodle(hypoallergenic) in the home. Must love dogs! They have an 18-year-old son who will be attending college in the fall. He does not require care, but may be in and out of the home at times. A family car will be provided for use while on the job. Looking for a nanny to take her to and from school, run errands, and therapy sessions as needed.
