Full time Nanny in Forest Park, IL

Job Description: Family in Forest Park is seeking a caring, attentive nanny for their first child to begin early September. The nanny should have substantial infant experience and truly enjoy time with children.

Schedule/Hours: Guaranteed 40 hours. Monday- Friday 6am-4pm Fridays off. Family can accomodate a 6:30am start time if nanny prefers.

Compensation: $1000/week + PTO & holidays

Job Details and Responsibilities:

One infant born in April 22.
Primary responsibilities are all care of the child: feeding, facilitating naps, reading, singing, etc.
Nanny should be knowledgeable regarding developmental milestones such as sleep schedules, starting solids, crawling, walking, potty training, etc.
Nanny will actively engage in a fun yet developmental activities for the child inside and out of doors. Plan activities to stimulate growth and development.
Light housekeeping such as child's laundry and bedding, maintain common areas such as playrooms and child's rooms by keeping them tidy, unloading dishwasher, wiping down surfaces, etc.
Nanny should be proactive, organized with strong communication skills.
Occasionally, one or both parents will be working from home.
Family has 3 dogs. Nanny will be required to let the dogs out in a fenced yard, nanny must like dogs and have no allergies. No additional care required.
Qualifications:

Substantive experience with infants is required.
Problem-solving attitude.
Reliable with strong communication skills.
No driving is required. A safe, clean license is a bonus.
COVID vaccine + Booster and TDAP vaccine required.
