Nanny / Family Assistant in Pepper Pike, Ohio

A busy, on-the-go family of four, and their sweet Golden Retriever in Pepper Pike, Ohio is seeking a proactive, fun nanny/family assistant to care for their two daughters, ages 5 and 2.5!




Their loving, creative 5-year-old daughter enjoys drawing, dancing, being in the garden, karate, and swimming. She is caring, sweet, and inquisitive. She attends school and summer camp full-time. Their funny, imaginative 2.5-year-old daughter loves to play, draw, dance, and sing! She is also very adventurous. Both girls enjoy Disney princesses (especially Frozen), playing dress up, arts & crafts, and playgrounds. The family has a friendly dog (Golden Retriever), so please be comfortable around pets! This tight knit family enjoys spending time together. They like watching movies, being outside, swimming, and traveling.



This position is ideal for a candidate who is proactive and brings a can-do attitude to each day. Someone who is comfortable with household assistant tasks as well as caring for both girls. The family is excited to work with a candidate to co-construct a weekly schedule and division of tasks to help this person thrive in each of these areas! Responsibilities include providing safe transportation for the children, preparing children’s meals, planning fun activities, fulfilling family assisting tasks, light tidying, laundry, and running errands. The family regularly works with a housekeeper.



Vaccine Requirements:

The candidate will need to be fully vaccinated, in addition to the booster vaccine (if eligible), against COVID-19 prior to the start date in accordance with applicable laws. Candidates who are fully vaccinated are welcome to apply. All eligible household members & outside family members are fully vaccinated.

Schedule:

This position is part-time, guaranteeing 20-25 hours/week, with the general schedule falling on Mondays through Fridays from 3pm to 6:30pm. Additional hours for family assistant duties are flexible and can be discussed directly with the family to fit the candidate’s needs. Optional hours in the morning are from 7am to 8:30am. These are not a requirement and are not included in the 20-25 hours/week. Opportunities for additional evening and weekend hours may be available.

Compensation:

The family is offering $22-$25/hour, based on 20-25hrs/week which equates to $440-$625/week and an annualized base compensation of $23K-$32,500/year, commensurate with experience, credentials, & education.
