Live out Nanny in Westport, CT

A loving family in Westport with two children (toddler and early elementary-aged) are seeking a live-out nanny (either part-time or full-time) to join their team in June or July. The schedule will be Monday through Thursday from about 1pm to 7pm and Friday from 9am to 7pm. They are willing to guarantee full-time hours, especially if the nanny has another skill set like cooking or housekeeping that can be utilized.



Their ideal nanny will be able to maintain the children’s afternoon routines, be comfortable with outdoor play, and foster a fair and kind sibling relationship between the two of them. The children are empathetic and inquisitive, so someone who can tailor a discipline style to those personalities will do best. The nanny must also be energetic and active enough to manage the children's needs and work well in a team. The main responsibilities will be all aspects of childcare during on-duty hours, light tidying and laundry for the children.



An up-to-date COVID vaccine and general conscientiousness around the pandemic spikes are musts for this family. You must also have a valid driver's license and be comfortable driving children to and from school and activities. Swimming skills are a plus, as the family has a pool.
