A kind, charismatic family of four in Akron, Ohio is seeking a trustworthy, loving nanny to care for their two children.



Their energetic, loving 2-year-old son is inquisitive and his vocabulary is starting to expand. He recently received a train table for his birthday, and he really enjoys playing with it! He is very loving towards his stuffed animals and will carry them around and give them hugs. He enjoys playing with his water table in the backyard and going for walks. His 2-month-old sister is a happy baby. The family hopes to find someone who is comfortable with paced bottle feeding. This family enjoys going for long walks around their neighborhood and to a small lake near their home. Dad works from home in a separate office and mom works outside of the home.



This position is ideal for the candidate who is passionate about caring for children and developing a love for learning. A nanny who is health conscious, as well as an individual who is taking the COVID-19 pandemic seriously. The family is seeking a nanny who is active and can keep up with their son. Someone who can run around and play outside and play on the floor with their daughter.



Requirements:

· Minimum of 3 years of recent, professional, paid childcare experience

· High school diploma

· Valid driver’s license

· At least 21 years of age

· Experience caring for toddlers and infants

· Currently fully COVID-19 vaccinated & boosted

· Willingness to wear a mask, while working, until both children have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (approximately February 2023)

· Note: All eligible household members are fully vaccinated against COVID-19

Schedule:

The schedule is full-time, guaranteeing 36 hours/week, with the general schedule falling on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8am to 5pm, with some flexibility to work Wednesdays, with advanced notice.



Compensation:

The family is offering $22-$25/hour, based on 36 hours/week which equates to $792-$900/week and an annualized base compensation package of $41K-$46,800/year.

All rates are commensurate with experience, credentials, longevity with past employers, and level of completed education.

Benefits:

The family is open to providing benefits including a $500 performance-based bonus after 90 days of employment, a $100/month healthcare stipend, paid time off, paid major holidays, and mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate for on-the-job travel.
