About the Agency

About the job

An exceptional sole charge opportunity has become available looking after a five year old little girl in St Albans, Hertfordshire. The family live in a centrally located house, close to all amenities and with a nice garden, suitable for children to play in.

In this position, the family is looking for an active nanny who enjoys being outside and going for walks to the park. They would also like their daughter to make friends and go on playdates, to help her to socialise. As well as outdoor activities, the little girl enjoys arts and crafts, drawing and baking. In the school holidays, they would like the nanny to take the little girl on outings to the zoo, etc, keeping her occupied and safe at all times.

After the school run in the morning, the nanny will be responsible for all nursery duties (general welfare of the little girl, her laundry, keeping the kitchen and living areas used clean and tidy, keeping her bedroom and bathroom clean and tidy, as well as organisation of her toys). The family would also appreciate help to keep the house running smoothly. There will occasionally be some light ironing for the parents. The other part of the role is to help care for the friendly one year old Labrador, taking him for a walk each day and feeding him.

The nanny will provide healthy and nutritious meals for the little girl. Batch cooking would also be useful, so there is food in the freezer for the parents to use for her during weekends.

In order to carry out the school run and attend activities, the nanny should be a careful and confident driver, with a clean licence and their own fully insured car.

In the afternoon, after the school run, the little girl attends a swimming and gymnastics class.
