Great rota position available for a Career nanny with SEN experience, competitive salary, one child aged 7!

Job summary:

This busy family is looking for an experienced, professional, and engaging Rota Nanny with a mature approach, to work on a 7 days on/off rota. You will be working with one child aged 7. The ideal nanny needs to be patient, caring and sensitive in supporting the child in the home environment and working with the child’s home-school teacher to ensure that there is consistency with approach.

The child is very bright, engaging, has a love for learning new things. The successful candidate would need to have lots of energy, be outgoing and have a great sense of humour as these are all qualities that the child has and enjoys in their nanny. The other rota nannies have been in the position for over two years and are experienced in caring for children with SEN so it important to have someone they can work alongside who can bring ideas and approaches, but also keep consistency with as this is very important for the child. The Rota Nanny will need to have a firm but fair approach, who is able to maintain clear boundaries as this is what the child thrives on.

This is a fully staff household so the focus is on caring for the child while they are at home, during school hours you will be expected to keep up with administration duties and planning for evenings, weekends and holidays when the child will be at home. The family do have dogs.

Candidate requirements:

SEN experience is essential, specifically with children who have ASC and ADHD.
This person needs to must be happy to travel as there is travel both to Europe and internationally during the school holidays.
Dog friendly
A Rota Nanny who has experience of working in a rota position previously would be advantageous but not essential.
Excellent English written and verbal skills are a must
DBS check required at offer stage
