Full time nanny for family of young boys in Tarporley, Cheshire

Happy Nest are seeking a nanny to provide sole-charge care for two young boys. With mum working full time, you’ll be providing nanny care for two boys aged 3 years and 7 years , Monday to Friday

With a 3 year old , and a 7 year old on your hands, you’ll no doubt be busy! But don’t stress too much, your inner calm will keep things running smoothly throughout the day. It’ll also ensure you juggle everything thrown at you. So long as it’s not the discarded peas from Mr 3s dinner plate!

You’ll be well positioned for this role if you’ve got several years’ experience as a nanny caring for pre-school and primary children in the family home.

Which means you’ll be familiar with juggling two different ages, at very different stages of their exploration and development. And you’ll also be independent minded, needing very little direction.

A driver is a requirement for this role, as you’ll need to drop Mr 7 at school in the morning and collect him in the afternoon.Mr 3 also attends the local preschool 3 mornings a week . It’s also advantageous if you’re Ofsted registered, although a willingness to become Ofsted registered will also do.

The accommodation if live in comprises of a fully furnished double room with ensuite , TV and Wifi

Hours:

- 7.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday

Nanny Duties:

Morning and afternoon school and pre school runs
Meal preparation, including healthy snacks
Support with homework, reading, and writing
Child-related housekeeping duties ( the family have a cleaner )
Laundry duties for the family
Taking the eldest to after school activities
All nursery duties
Once the afternoons roll around you’ll collect Mr 7 from school. He loves the outdoors and playing ball games in the garden

As an experienced nanny, you’ll be able to help with homework. Most importantly, you’ll be familiar with the various techniques to encourage and support school aged children as they learn to read and write.

So rest assured, only child-related housekeeping duties apply here.

However, it will be greatly appreciated if you could clean up after mealtimes, ensure the children’s laundry is in order, and help the children to keep their play areas and bedrooms tidy and not be averse to running a vacuum around if the children have gone gung ho on messy play.

Essential Requirements ;

• Fully enhanced DBS (criminal record) check. Agency will assist

• Paediatric first aid

• Checkable references

• Previous experience working with similar age children
