About the job
A superb live in Nanny/PA role has become available in Penn, Buckinghamshire. The family live in a beautiful house with a large garden. The nanny accommodation is a separate one bedroom flat on top of the garage. It has a fully fitted kitchen, bathroom and living room.
You will be looking after a little boy, aged five, and his sister who is aged three. The children are active and enjoy being outside, horse-riding and swimming. The little girl is musical and is soon to start piano lessons.
The family is keen for the children to learn in a balanced way with a good mixture of indoor and outdoor activities, meeting up with other children for play dates and outings to the farm, soft play, etc.
As the family employ a weekly cleaner, the role is to be nursery duties only (general personal care of the children, children’s laundry, keeping their bedrooms and playroom tidy and organised, making sure they have everything ready for school each day, making sure the kitchen and all rooms used are tidy at the end of the day, etc). On top of this, while the children are at school there are to be some PA duties to keep the house running smoothly – taking the small dog for a walk and to the groomers, post office and dry cleaning trips, food shops, school admin, etc. Also, the nanny will cook healthy and nutritious meals for the family each day.
As Mum travels for work, the nanny will be occasionally required to look after the children overnight. These trips will always be planned in advance and the nanny paid overtime.
The nanny will need to be a careful and confident driver with a clean licence. There will be a duty car available to use.
This is a wonderful sole charge role for someone who would like to make a long term commitment.
