Full time Nanny in Southfields, London

Family in Southfields are looking for a part or full time nanny to help care for their two children – baby born January 2022 and a 3.5 year old. The role would ideally start asap (notice period can be accommodated) and cover either Monday/Tuesday if two days or Monday-Wednesday if three days (although the family have a degree of flexibility for the right person although no Fridays for part time). Could also look at four or five day nannies as well as live in. Ideal hours 8/9am – 7.30pm but these can be varied for different days (with the nanny’s agreement). Mum is likely to be on maternity leave for about a year (may return earlier) but will be busy with other things so the role is sole charge. The family is looking for a happy, helpful nanny who is confident enough for sole charge but also happy to have mum or dad around from time to time. Someone who is able to take initiative and enjoys both child nutrition and education. The family would love to have someone who is proactive about finding classes and activities for the baby. The candidate should be someone who is happy and joyful to be around and knows understands children as well as happy to muck in and help with laundry, toys and the baby’s development. The eldest attends nursery so it would generally just involve a drop off and pick up – main care of the youngest. The nanny should also be a good cook and aware of weaning (the youngest has a potential cow’s milk protein allergy which will need to be kept in mind when it comes to weaning). A driver is not necessary, however the family can provide their car for the nanny to use (large automatic). There is free parking not far from where the family live and restrictions apply on their road between 1 and 3pm. The family has no pets. Market rate salary. Willingness to babysit is desirable and the family are happy to make their spare room available if an overnight stay is required.
