Temporary ROTA Nanny in South West London

This busy family is looking for an experienced, professional and engaging Temporary Rota Nanny with a mature approach, to cover the current Rota Nanny.
This contract will work on a month-by-month review, depending on the length of time the current Rota Nanny will be on jury duty and also the needs of the family over the summer holiday period. You will work on a 7 days on/off rota.

The role is working work with one child age 7. The Rota Nanny needs to have SEN experience, specifically with children who have ASC and ADHD. This person needs to be patient, caring and sensitive in supporting the child in the home environment and working with the child’s home-school teacher to ensure that there is consistency with the approach.

The child is very bright, engaging, and has a love for learning new things. The successful candidate would need to have lots of energy, be outgoing and have a great sense of humour as these are all qualities that the child has and enjoys in their nanny. The other rota nannies have been in the position for over two years and are experienced in caring for children with SEN so it is important to have someone they can work alongside who can bring ideas and approaches, but also keep consistency as this is very important for the child. The Temporary Rota Nanny will need to have a firm but fair approach, who is able to maintain clear boundaries as this is what the child thrives on.

A Temporary Rota Nanny who has experience working in a rota position previously would be advantageous but not essential. This is a fully staffed household so the main focus is on caring for the child while they are at home, during school hours the Nanny will be expected to keep up with administrative duties and planning for evenings, weekends and holidays when the child will be at home.

The Temporary Rota Nanny needs to be happy to travel as there is travel both to Europe and internationally during the school holidays.

Accommodation will be provided for the nanny to use while on duty. This is their own bedroom and bathroom in the family home.

The family has dogs. A car driver is not required.
