Part time Nanny in Thorpe Bay, Essex

A professional, friendly and welcoming family from Thorpe Bay, Essex is seeking a part time nanny to provide support for their 3 year old son.

The ideal person for this position is a reliable, fun-loving, and nurturing nanny who is seeking part time after school hours. Duties include assisting with the after school pick up from nearby school Alleyn Court at 3pm.

Desirable qualities include good organisational skills, loves the outdoors, is a strong communicator, is fun, resourceful and creative, has good integrity and is trustworthy.

The main nanny duties will be overseeing the child after school; this will include preparing and cooking fresh healthy meals, helping him with reading and schoolwork, organising activities and outings, and supporting developmental milestones. He is a happy little boy who loves sports, arts and crafts, music, dancing and reading. The family have a friendly miniature labradoodle who is adores playing with, and trips to the park with them both is a nice after school activity. The family hire a professional cleaner so full housekeeping will not be required but it is important to note that you will be expected to keep the children’ living areas clean and tidy and assist with their daily laundry.

As well as the afternoon routine, assistance with childcare will also be required in the school holidays.

Salary

The successful candidate will be offered £12 gross per hour (to be discussed).

Hours 16 hours per week.

Monday -Thursday 3pm-7pm additional hours will be offered in the school holidays ? ? ?
