Daily Nanny in Mayfair, London

This lovely, relaxed family are looking for a fun, organised, kind and caring Nanny for a little boy 6 and little girl 9 months.
The Nanny is expected to have a good understanding of, and passion for working with children of similar ages, including in relation to routines, activities and developmental stages.

Both children are happy, healthy and in a good routine. The little boy enjoys being outdoors, climbing, rollerblading, riding his bike and generally being active. He also loves playing with his Hot wheels and with Lego. The little girl loves having playdates and enjoys going to various classes – she is innately curious and very happy with going on excursions! The family would love the nanny to look at what other classes and events are available for her to attend.

While the parents are very hands on with the children the role is mainly sole charge. The working days/hours are 40 hours per week Monday to Friday from 10 am to 6pm (some degree of flexibility if required).

The family are looking for a nanny who has an entrepreneurial mindset – they need to be able to act on their own initiative and be highly organised with excellent communication skills. The nanny will work closely with the family to provide the best level of care for the children and create a fun and stimulating environment in which they continue to develop and strive. They need to have a good understanding of the role that a Nanny plays, with the ability to be discreet, respectful of the family home and to maintain professional boundaries.

All nursery duties are required including managing the children’s diaries, laundry and preparing healthy balanced food for the children.

The family employ a PA / House Manager who has a lovely relationship with the children, as well as cleaners who come in on a daily basis.

There will be some international travel for family holidays in the role and so a Nanny who enjoys travelling and is highly organised when doing so would be advantageous.

A driver is ideal, but not essential.

The family doesn’t have any pets.
