Job Summary: First time parents who used Eden for a maternity nurse are now looking to hire a permanent nanny to start after the summer. Their son will be 7 months old, and the parents are keen to find a caring proactive nanny who will provide excellent care for their baby. They want their nanny to know they are not micro mangers and would want the nanny to take control of the day and plan for classes and activities. the family employ a cleaner and have a holiday home in France, travelling with them would be desirable but not essential. This job will not be around long, apply today!

General duties:

Sole charge
Standard nanny duties, including their sons, laundry and preparing healthy meals when he starts weaning onto solids
Planning activities, researching, and attending classes that are age appropriate
Encouraging his developmental milestones, weaning, crawling, walking and potty training
Keeping his toys clean and organised, making suggestions to the parents on what needs replacing
As he gets older, arranging play dates and outdoor play _ they have a lovely garden and also 5 minutes from Brockwell Park

Candidate requirements:

Experience with babies in a sole charge position is essential
Calm, loving and proactive
Confident with the early year’s milestones and development
Good communication skills, fluent English, and a bonus for French
Someone who is looking for a long-term position
Driving is not essential but would be desirable
Active and enjoys the outdoors
An understanding of good nutrition – able to suggest good options when weaning etc
