Part Time, Live out Nanny for a Busy Family in Prenton , Wirral
Hours: 8am-6.30pm- 31.5 hours per week
Days : 3 Days per week – Ideally Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
Happy Nest are seeking a proactive and experienced nanny to join this busy family of four (two children, two parents) on a part - time, live out basis .
The ideal nanny will be caring, fun and full of energy, whilst also being highly organised, proactive, and open to flexibility. You’ll need to understand good nutrition for children and have a keen interest in preparing healthy meals as Mr 5 can sometimes be a tad on the fussy side.
These boys – a 5-year-old and a 3-year-old – both love cars, and anything robot related.
You’ll really enjoy this position if you’re able to transition into role with ease and enjoy taking the initiative. And have some good solid experience of working with children of a similar age.
Duties:
Day-to-day, you’ll oversee caring for the children, and keeping the child related household duties in order. Your main role will see you as the caring, bubbly nanny of the 3-year-old boy and his older brother . Mr 5 attends school locally, and enjoys various extracurricular activities including tennis and swimming lessons with his younger brother in tow. The ideal nanny will know how to balance the need for fun and spontaneity, with maintaining a schedule.
Your mornings will involve the typical breakfast routine, before racing out of the house for school drop off. You’ll then be exploring the world with Mr 3 by your side Everything is exciting to him at this stage of life, so remember to slow down a little, and let him appreciate the birds in the sky and collect leaves along the footpaths.
Mr 3 is in a good routine. So, you’ve got the flexibility to go out and about during the day – there's a bunch of different toddler classes and groups available for him to socialise with other children locally.
The afternoons are usually made up of some after-school fun activities to let off some steam before coming home for dinner.
The family also have a dog who is a very friendly and happy to join in with the fun on walks if you are!
We know that with a 3-year-old about to launch himself into full on wreck-it-ralph, it might prove tricky to keep the house in tip top shape. So rest assured, only child-related housekeeping duties apply here.
However, it will be greatly appreciated if you could clean up after mealtimes, ensure the children’s laundry is in order, and help the children to keep their play areas and bedrooms tidy.
