A lovely family are looking for a live-in nanny to join their family in Tooting Bec for their 11 months old baby and a 4 years old.
They are looking for an attentive, organised and passionate nanny who has experience with children of the same ages, preferably with some experience or keen towards the Montessori approach.
The nanny will be responsible for both children during the summer. Their 4-year-old will start going to school on a full-time basis from September the nanny’s responsibilities will involve school pick up and drop off (walking distance) and taking care of her for parts of school holidays, when she isn't at activities.
Their 1-year-old will be staying at home with the nanny. As the youngest child is not attending nursery yet they would like someone who can engage her with developmentally appropriate activities, take her to playgroups and organize activities outside the home.
The ideal nanny will also be very proactive, energetic, and outdoorsy with a positive parenting approach, and is capable of organising classes and activities independently.
The parents are working full time and the role is sole charge and the nanny will be responsible for all the nursery and childcare duties. No housekeeping is involved as there is a cleaner that comes regularly.
It is essential that the nanny can cook vegetarian meals and prepare a variety and diverse food.
Hours are 7:30 am – 6:30, Monday – Friday plus some occasional babysitting during the week. Salary is dependent on experience.
Someone who can babysit would be nice and Tamil speaker can be a bonus.
Start date: July
Salary: £30000-40000 /year gross
