Live in or daily Nanny in Wandsworth, London

Flexible start (June to Sept) in WANDSWORTH SW18: Live-in OR Daily, *trained* Nanny for 2 children, G5.5 years & B20-months.

Professional, working parents are seeking a new, trained nanny for their family to start later this year. The new Nanny will have sole charge of two children, B20 months & G5.5 years and will have excellent experience working with both school age and toddler charges. A confident candidate (ideally with professional training/formal qualifications) who can continue the children's established routines and support with all upcoming developmental stages and transitions.

Working 45 hours/week, Monday - Friday, from 8am until 6/7pm (Monday to Thursday), with an earlier finish on a Friday once all nursery duties have been completed. Likewise if a candidate desired more hours our clients will try to accommodate.

The girl goes to school locally within walking distance, and whilst a driver would be useful, it is not essential (car provided if nanny drives). As the family's eldest attends school full-time and youngest at nursery two days per week, it is envisaged that the nanny will spend 3 full days with the toddler and provide wrap-around care for the eldest child. Main duties will include:

= Sole charge of toddler - feeding, development, play etc.

= Organising play dates and taking to groups locally.

= Keeping toys and bedrooms tidy, cleaning toys.

= Making meals for both children.

= Laundry of children’s clothes and bedding, as required.

As the family have previously had Norland-trained nannies, a similar ethos is highly desirable. This is a busy, energetic and friendly household and the family have a housekeeper/cleaner four days per week. The eldest loves music, drama and arts and crafts and also the outdoors. The youngest is similarly inquisitive, energetic and loves messy and outdoor play. The house is a typical London, Victorian terrace so it's important the nanny is fit and active for running up & down stairs! The will also be very occasional travel (eg: Cornwall, or occasionally an o/seas business trip with mum).

For Live-In applicants, the nanny accommodation is a large bedroom with king size bed, en-suite bathroom (walk in shower) and balcony. The family live close to Wandsworth Town on a lovely street, with great local amenities. And for excursions and transport links, Earlsfield is approximately 20 minutes and Clapham Junction 30 minutes on foot.

Best suited to a self-starting, high energy, creative and outdoorsy nanny who relishes sole-charge care but equally would be happy to work with the parents as a team.



Salary: from £30,000 for live-in and from £45,000 for live-out (negotiable, depending on experience). 30 days of holiday.
