Are you a nanny who loves Education and has experience working with toddlers and babies? This great sole charge role in Battersea offering parking with a competitive salary is on offer and interviewing now!

Job Summary: This lovely family with a 3-year-old boy and baby on the way are looking for a sole charge nanny. Their son is in nursery 5 mornings a week and in September will gradually increase to all day. Mum is expecting their second child and will be on maternity leave for the first few months after the baby is born. Although driving is not essential the nursery is a good 20-minute walk and feel driving would be easier. The family are interested in finding a nanny who is creative, reliable and will plan educational activities for their son and who has experience working with young babies. Their son is a happy sociable little boy; he loves puzzles and enjoys being outdoors. Both parents work full time and a mix from home and office

General duties:

Sole charge care, shared with the baby while mum is on maternity leave
Nursery duties including his laundry
Planning educational and age-appropriate activities to help with his development
Nursery runs – 20 minute walk or driving (care will be provided)
Preparing healthy meals- an interest in nutrition who can help with his eating habits, he does have a peanut allergy

Candidate requirements:

It is essential you have proven longevity in your previous roles and can demonstrate an understanding of this age group
Ability to be creative and plan activities that aid their sons learning and development
Good cooking skills, knowledge of nutrition
Calm, proactive, and a self-starter
Non-smoker
Confident driver is desirable but not essential
Experience with babies and knowledge of the milestones including weaning and potty training
Excellent English skills to help with reading and writing and speech development
