Part time Nanny in Southend on Sea, Essex

Happy Nest are seeking a fun, warm and creative nanny to join this loving family with one little boy aged 2.5 in Thorpe Bay, Essex.

This is a part-time position, working one day a week every Thursday to start from the end of May 2022.

Hours 9am-4.30pm Thursday

Duties - on a day-to-day basis, this nanny role will encompass the things you’re well experienced in, and a dab hand at. You’ll have a love for the early years, and enjoy both educational and imaginative play in equal measure.

He’s a bright intelligent boy who loves to imagine stories and characters, and is equally at home playing in the garden, at the beach or visiting the sea life centre. He loves learning about new things, adventurous play and building relationships, so the ability to plan fun learning activities is a must, and you’ll be comfortable running around soft play and making friends.

The ideal candidate for this nanny position in Thorpe Bay will be highly engaged, with the presence of mind to ensure all areas are covered. You will also be creative new activities, ensuring that everything is in place for the next developmental milestones. Your experience in a similar role will mean you’re unflappable, and that you’ve usually got a backup plan in mind to account for the unexpected.

The family already employ a nanny but have an additional requirement for an extra day that their existing nanny is unable to do.


Essential requirements

· Fully enhanced DBS (criminal record) check.

· Paediatric first aid

· Checkable references

· Previous experience working with similar age children in a nanny role

The family also has one cat, so you will need to be happy around animals.

Salary £11-12 gross per hour
