Very exciting Rota Nanny opportunity with a separate 2-bedroom Duplex Flat, including a generous salary!

Job Summary: A very lovely and down to earth family are looking for a new rota nanny to join their wonderful team of nannies in their fully staffed household. They live in beautiful house in Belgravia and are offering a separate 2-bedroom duplex flat, just 2-minute walk away from their house! The parents are very friendly and live in a relaxed household, although they both work full-time busy schedules. The team of nannies all work really well together and have established a good working structure/routine and they are looking for a friendly and reliable nanny who can fit in well. You will predominantly focus your time with the 5- & 6-year-old, as the 2 year old has a full-time nanny, however there will be cross over, so it’s important you’re comfortable working with all ages.

Accommodation: Beautiful & modern 2-bedroom duplex flat – only a 2-minute walk away from the main house!

General duties:

Creating a safe and stimulating environment for the children
Bathing and dressing
Changing nappies and potty training if age appropriate
Children’s laundry and keeping the children’s areas organised and tidy (including bedrooms)
Planning meals, preparing food, and/or feeding the children
Planning schedules and taking to activities and play dates
Indoor and outdoor play
Educational activities and crafts
Accompanying/driving the children to school, activities, or playdates
Reading to the children / assisting with homework
Language skills
Developing the child’s physical, social and mental skills but organising fun and educational activities
Administrating medicines with the parents’ consent
Writing a log for parents when they are absent
Wardrobe management – separating the children’s laundry, delicates/colours/whites etc to reduce incidents
Calendar management for the children
Showing love and affection for the children making him/her feel comfortable and secured
Maintaining a contact database relating to medical/school/friends/venues
Planning meal preparation and snacks
Produce a daily log for parents
Report all incidents, falls, emotional upset episodes, bullying issues, keep a log for parents and other nannies
International travel with the family

Candidate requirements:

The family are relaxed and very friendly, they are not looking for a nanny to change how their household runs, but more so focussed on finding the right nanny who will fit in well with their current team and structure.
The successful candidate will be kind and caring and able to work well with both children and nannies
Must have previous rota experience!
