Part time Nanny in Islington, London

Family living in Islington N1 are looking for an after nursery/after school nanny to work from 3pm -6pm Monday-Thursday. Offering a reasonable rate of pay for the right candidate.

You will be working with two children aged 3 and 8 years old and the pick up in within walking distance to the house - just a 3 minute walk away. The older child has after school clubs a couple of nights a week and so would need picking up from those, also within a 5 minute walk.

Both children get on well with each other and are confident, and active so you will need to keep them occupied. On low energy days, it would be great if you could have focused downtime with them at home, reading and gentle games.

They have lots of local friends so always fun to be had and activities to do. We are looking for a nanny who is not too strict, and can give the children lots of encouragement when needed. We would need you to be able to get down to their level to talk and explain things clearly to them in a caring way.

You will be required to make dinner for the two children and to keep the kitchen clean afterwards.
