Job Summary: A wonderful family are looking for their new nanny for to care for their 3 lovely children (2 girls and a boy) & also help with family PA duties. Both parents are working, Dad who works full-time and Mum who works 3 days per week. The eldest two children will both be attending full-time school, from September, local to Putney, whilst the youngest spends a significant portion of the week in two local nursery settings.

The family are looking for a kind, caring nanny with real warmth who will become part of the family. In addition to this they are also looking for someone who is very organised & tidy and who has the confidence to interact with other nannies, parents, and teachers as part of their role. The family are keen to promote emotional health and wellbeing in their children so would like someone who is happy to discuss and explore their children’s feelings with them. The nanny needs to be able to drive as occasionally school drop-offs/pick-ups and journeys to some of the children’s weekly activities will need to be done by car. It’s a busy household with three children’s schedules to manage so the nanny needs to be happy to embrace that. The role would involve:

General duties:

Mix of sole and shared care
Responsibility for children’s schedules (timetable, weekly plan, booking after-school clubs, playdates, holiday activities, days out etc.)
Preparing school bags each morning
Collecting the children from school (schools are a 15–20-minute walk or 5-minute drive; Nursery is a 35–40-minute walk or 10 minute drive). Most drops-offs will be done by Mum
Taking the children to after-school activities / playdates and picking them up
Cooking varied and healthy dinners (ideally in sufficient quantities for parents to eat later in the evening)
Supervising / helping with schoolwork (homework and school projects)
Supervising music practice
Getting the children ready for bed and preparing clothes for the next day (Mum is always home between 18:00 and 19:00 to put them in bed)
Organising children’s clothes / buying uniforms
Keeping children’s books / games / toys organized and tidy
Occasionally babysitting (paid for separately)
Liaising with schools
Planning birthday parties and arranging gifts
Booking dentist, doctor appointments, haircuts etc
Packing suitcases
PA / Household Tasks

Paying bills
Booking travel (flights / hotels / car hire)
Grocery orders
Personal shopping
Plan private dinner parties or events
Booking appointments, reservations and event tickets
Booking car MOT and car maintenance
Managing small projects / maintenance within the house
Selling items, claiming refunds
Errand running
Arranging gifts
Candidate requirements:

The family are looking for a great communicator and someone who is happy to be apart of a team
The ideal candidate will excel in logistical challenges, there is a lot of admin/planning as children are in different schools
Driver is a must – happy for the nanny to drive the family car when on duty (Automatic) – there is no parking, as the family do not have off-street parking
