Role: Live Out Sole Charge Nanny
Care for: G11 months & G2.5 years
Days/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 7pm
Location: Chelsea, W8
Salary: £60k - £70k gross per year on qualification skills & experience
Start: May, 2022
We are seeking a qualified, developmentally focused fun nanny to help care for a girl’s of 2.5 and
11 months to start May, 22 with a lovely American family based in Chelsea.
They would like a fun, engaging nanny who is knowledgeable of EYFS, very education focused
and ideally Norland or Degree educated in childcare. This is a sole charge position and the
nanny will be responsible for engaging the children’s interests, planning and arranging
activities, playdates, liaising with school/ nursery and supporting the older child with her
homework.
The hours are 8am to 7pm, Monday to Friday for a daily nanny. A driver is not essential but
would be an advantage. The nanny will be required to undertake nursery duties and cook
healthy meals for the children. There may be some international travel with the family required
arrangement. Excellent communication skills are essential along with a genuine interest in
developing a strong rapport with children. They would love a nanny who is creative and active
who will encourage and extend the girls interests and hobbies as they develop them.
This lovely family is interviewing now to find a nanny to join them in May. The hope to find a
lovely nanny looking to stay long term in their next position.
Nanny Duties
• Nursery duties - maintaining the childrens rooms, clothing, equipment & toy’s.
• Cooking fresh and healthy meals for the children.
• Engaging with the nursery /school, school runs and pickups.
• Planning activities , outing’s and playdates for the children
• Children’s admin including appointments, booking club’s, sorting their wardrobes and
similar.
• Supporting homework, home learning, literacy and encouraging a love of learning in the
children.
• Travel with the family as required.
To be considered for this role you must:
• Have 5+ years’ professional experience with children
• Be qualified with NVQ level 3, Cache Level 3 in childcare or have an early years degree.
• Be highly educated and preferably degree qualified
• Have excellent contactable references
• Be fluent in English language and literacy
• A driver is an advantage but now essential.
• Possess (or be willing to get) an up to date DBS check
