We are looking for a positive, proactive, smiley, and flexible experienced nanny to have sole care of an adorable 4-month-old baby boy starting at the end of May/beginning of June. The mum will go back to full time work in August and would like a nanny who is engaging and who can maintain the baby’s routines and schedules. She will be working from home half the time, so you need to be comfortable to have parents around at times.

They are looking for a thoughtful, knowledgeable, and kind nanny who enjoys being active and who genuinely loves their job and spending time with babies and toddlers. They would love their nanny to offer advice and support as their baby reach new stages and be able to follow their parenting style. It would be great if you can teach him manners as he gets older and support with engaging him in stimulating activities so he will reach his milestones.

The parents would like to find a professional fluent English-speaking nanny who enjoys smiles and affection and who can hit the ground running. They need a nanny who is COVID vaccinated and who is happy to commit long term. They will also need some proxy parenting when the parents are travelling for work and travel once or twice per year.

LOCATION: Notting Hill, W2

START: End of May/Beginning of June

DAYS: Monday to Friday

HOURS: 7.30 am – 6 pm

PAY: Market rate depending on your experience

EXPERIENCE: minimum of 8 years nannying experience with babies from 4 months old as well as being able to support with weaning and managing the routines for the baby as he gets older. Nursery experience and qualifications are a plus and someone who has a good understanding and passion for working with and developing babies and toddlers. An interest in cooking fresh healthy meals for children is also important. It will be ideal if you can travel once or possibly twice per year on a family holiday and be able to swim. A French speaker is a bonus.

DUTIES:
Usual nanny duties and responsibilities to care for the child to include:

- Planning and delivering appropriate activities for fun and learning and development, both in and out of the home, such as attending local classes appropriate for his age group, going for walks, and attending playgroups and play dates.

- Support with cooking for the child and preparing fresh and healthy meals.

- Tidying up after the child and all nursery duties

- Looking after his health and safety.

- Following routines and other developmental milestones

- Planning and preparing a weekly schedule

- Evening babysitting if required and proxy parenting

- Travel with the family once or twice per year

No general housework required as they have a cleaner 1 x per week
