This is a fabulous live out role with a family based in Waterloo. These are old clients and lovely to work for. Great opportunity to start with their first baby who is 8 months old at present. The role would be Monday to Friday, 8-7. It would start in May for the handover and the mother will be returning to work.

To start with the mother will be around a little for the handover and then when she is back at work the nanny will need to be capable of full sole charge. Must be proactive, capable, practical, organised and able to get on with the job and make the role their own.

The right nanny will be warm kind and fun, they will enjoy going to baby classes, groups and playdates, so someone social and outdoorsy who will really engage this little boy. You will need extensive recent baby experience of a reasonable duration and fab references, as well as all the usual first aid, DBS, etc

You will need to be a bit flexible just in case the family are held up working late on rare occasions and a confident safe driver is essential. This family would be be very happy to have a nanny who might at least consider travelling with them on some family holidays and would be fine with babysitting once a week ideally.

Our Maternity nurse has recommended this family as lovely to work for and she will be around for trial days and answer any questions from the shortlisted applicant. The family do need fluent English but it does not need to be native English.

There are no pets, but the country house will probably have dogs around so this would not suit someone who is scared of dogs, allergic to them or does not like them but there are no dog duties needed. nursery duties only. This is a long term permanent role and the family are a little flexible on salary for the right person but are thinking something around £14/15 net per hr with all tax etc paid so up to 59k depending on experience

You will need to be ideally be 30 minutes away door to door and looking for a long term perm role. A driver is ESSENTIAL and ideally some travel too so you should be a little flexible. You should be available in London to interview with the right to stay long term and work in the UK. You will also need all the usual - enhanced DBS, first aid and three excellent checkable verbal references.
