Live in Nanny / PA in St Johns Wood, London

This busy family is looking for a nanny/ PA to help care for their children aged 13, 11 and 8 year old, based in St John’s Wood.
The children attend the American School in London, about 7 minutes walk from their house. You’ll be responsible for school runs, diary management for the children, sourcing classes and activities each term, cooking their meals, ensuring their areas are neat and tidy, as well as helping with some family admin, such as helping with holiday planning, packing children’s bags for periods of travel, online grocery orders etc.

The family travel during school holidays for up to 2 weeks at a time, they would like a nanny who is happy to accompany them on some of these trips but not all.
You may also occasionally be required to proxy parent, if both parents have to travel at the same time.

You will be required to work Monday to Friday including 3 days per week 6.45am to 8.30pm and two days per week 2.30pm to 8.30pm.

The family employ a housekeeper who takes care of the children’s laundry, but you may occasionally be required to assist with this. An animal lover is essential as the family have a little dog.

This role requires a fun, outgoing person who is highly organised – able to handle the busy demands of three children going in different directions each day. You should ideally hold a degree in teaching or childcare with extensive experience working with pre-teens and teenagers.
A driver is essential and a car is provided for use on duty.
You will be provided with your own apartment a short walk away from the family home.
