About the job
Lovely live-in position in Forest Hill, South East London.
This fantastic family of five is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic nanny to join their family in September.
The family currently have two children aged B3 and G2, and they have a baby due in late September.
The hours are Monday-Friday, 7am-7.30pm with some down time during the day in term time. Both of the older children are at pre-school during term time. B3 is an active and sweet boy who loves reading, singing and dancing and football. His little sister is confident, brave and independent. Both children get on well together and attend the same pre-school.
The nanny will be responsible for day to day care of the children, including pre-school drop off and pick up, organising activities and outings, meal planning and preparation. On top of the standard nursery duties the family would like the nanny to do the family laundry and bedding, light housekeeping and cook meals for the whole family once or twice a week. The family will have a cleaner so the nanny won’t be required to do any deep cleaning of the house.
The family is looking for a nanny who has previous nanny experience, or experience working with children of a similar age in a childcare setting, who is familiar with London. Someone fun, active and laid back who has lots of initiative and is able to get on with things and make the role their own will work well with this family. Although mum will be home on maternity leave with the baby for 6-12 months, she will be with the baby and would like the nanny to be sole charge with the older two during this time.
The nanny’s accommodation is a large room with an ensuite on the same floor as the children.
The family would love the nanny to join them on their family holidays, for up to 4 weeks per year.
A confident automatic driver is required for this role.
