Job Summary: If you enjoy keeping up with an active toddler and love the early stages with a baby then this could be your next Job. Lovely Clients who treat their staff very well are seeking a new nanny, the one we placed nearly three years ago is moving away. Both parents work full time a mix or home and office and need a degree of flexibility on occasion. They require a confident driver; parking is available and there is a car for you to use. Their son will be in Nursery starting September, currently Eden have a maternity nurse who will be with the baby till she is 6 months, at that stage you will be ready to jump straight in with both children. The family are keen to find a nanny that will stay with them long term, has experience working with both ages and is educationally focused, fluent English is essential to help their son with his speech, reading and working with him as he starts to write. The family are extremely tidy, and the home is lovely, they employ a full-time housekeeper who takes care of the laundry so you can focus on the children. This is the type of family who wants their nanny to take the lead with the children and their schedule, they welcome your expertise and are happy for you to do it all but also believe communication is important and welcome any suggestion you may also have.

General duties:

Sole charge care
Ready to step in when the maternity nanny leaves when the baby will be ready for weaning and potty training for their son
Planning and preparing healthy nutritious meals for both
Nursery runs and pick ups
Planning playdates, researching, and attending classes that are age appropriate
Coming up with fun actives in the home that will help with development including arts and crafts, creative play in addition to reading and writing
Keeping on top of the children’s toys and replacing what is needed or suggesting new ones
Babysitting and proxy parenting
Travelling on some of the holidays
Candidate requirements:

It is essential that you have worked as a sole charge nanny with two young children under the age of three
Strong preference for nannies who have worked in fully staffed homes
Fluent verbal and written English skills are a must for language development
A childcare degree or diploma is required
An interest in education, confident with the early years developmental milestones including weaning and potty training
Happy upbeat personality who can take the lead, uses your initiative, a good role model for the children who will provide a safe, structured but fun environment
Professional, discreet, and well presented
Ideally familiar with the North London area
A confident driver
An interest in children’s nutrition
Good communication skills- happy to make suggestions on what the children need
