Job Summary: This truly wonderful family are looking to hire their new nanny as their much-loved current nanny is sadly leaving them after 6 wonderful years. As the children are all school age, they require someone who has an educational background or experience as a governess, in order to help with their development – experience with 11+ would be a real bonus for the family. Both parents work full-time therefore are looking for a proactive nanny with a get up and go character, who can also help with the morning school runs. The children are all fun-loving, easy-going characters who enjoy being active and getting outdoors! The family employ full-time housekeeper, so this role will suit someone who is keen to solely focus on childcare and helping with their development.

General duties:

Helping with the children’s homework will be a strong focus
Taking the children to after school clubs and activities
Arranging playdates with other children
Planning activities for the children and booking in fun and different camps for the holidays
Travelling with family when needed would be a bonus
Cooking healthy meals for the children would be a bonus
Maintain the running of a tight ship, including PA duties, ordering children’s clothes – making school admin is all up to date

Candidate requirements:

Must be a confident driver
Must be dog friendly
Must have an educational background or experience as a governess/teaching children – 11+ would be a huge bonus for the family
The family are keen to find a nanny who is proactive, with a get up and go character, and who is able to make decisions for themselves- Mum won’t be micromanaging.
Fit and active – the family enjoy walks & running etc
Someone who is organised will excel in this role, and who can take charge of all childcare responsibilities
