Our clients are also seeking a candidate flexible to support with occasional proxy cover and travel, as well as someone confident working in both a mixed sole-charge & shared-care setting.
Although a ‘relaxed’ private household, both parents are in the public eye, so it is important for their nanny to be discreet with a totally professional outlook. This role would be best suited to a proactive candidate with good initiation, able to instinctively ‘read the room’ as to when to ‘step up’ and when the family may be wanting to spend alone time with their daughter.
Due to our clients residing in the countryside, it is also important for the nannies to comfortable taking their little one outside for fresh air rain or shine! The ideal candidate will also be a highly organised & proactive collaborator and a clear communicator; with a tidy-as-you-go way of working and passion for cooking fresh, nutritional meals from scratch (and batch for the freezer!). Full standard nursery duties to be expected, although the family do have a part-time housekeeper three times a week.
To summarise:
= Good developmental awareness of both baby & toddler years is desired by the parents in-order to support their baby as she grows
= Must have excellent cooking skills for for simple, healthy, interesting & fun meals for a one-year and good experience for weaning babies.
= Full clean driving licence: confident country & city driver.
= Very active candidate who loves animals: the family live on a rural estate with horses & two Labradors - so a candidate comfortable around pets.).
= Full of ideas for play & learning and likes to be outdoors regardless of the weather!
= Easy-going, calm personality with a tidy-as-you-go approach.
= Travel: there will be EU travel (Covid depending of course) and up to 3 weeks at a time.
= A tidy as you go, organised and calm/patient individual who has "good hands of experience and someone who has seen it all before" would best suit the family.
= Working a Monday to Friday.
The nanny will have use of a separate annexe located a few hundred metres away from the family’s main address, as well as large bedroom/en-suite accommodation when needing to stay at work within the family’s home. And a very competitive salary is available for a candidate with good experience and training.
Interviews are now taking place for a June start, and this is a 6 month booking until January 2023.
