Temporary Nanny in Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire

A great three month temporary role has become available in Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire. You will be helping a friendly family with a new baby due at the end of April and their two year old little boy. The role could possibly be extended, but with slightly different hours. Mum will be on maternity leave and Dad works from home occasionally.

The hours will be 08.00 – 17.00, Monday to Thursday.

The little boy attends nursery each day from 08.30 – 16.30. You will need to be a careful and confident driver, with a clean licence and your own fully insured car, to do the nursery runs each day. You will be reimbursed for petrol used on duty at the current government rate.

While the little boy is at nursery, as well as helping Mum to ensure that the baby is kept happy, settled and stimulated with plenty of indoor play and fresh air, the role will involve all nursery duties to include all personal care of the children, children’s laundry, keeping their areas and toys organised and tidy, as well helping to prepare any bottles needed. You will also provide the little boy with healthy and nutritious meals and snacks each day, batch cooking when needed.

The family employ a weekly cleaner. However, if there is any spare time during the day, although care of the children is the main priority, any help to keep the house running smoothly would be appreciated – keeping the living areas tidy, emptying the dishwasher, putting an occasional load of adult washing on, helping to buy groceries and running occasional errands, etc.

The family live in four bedroom detached house with a large garden in a quiet cul de sac. They are a happy and friendly family. They enjoy music, singing and being active outdoors. They are looking for a kind nanny who would like to join their family unit.
