Job Summary:

A lovely family is now looking for a live in Nanny to look after their beautiful 17 month old daughter and the new addition to the family in November (mum will have a maternity nurse of the first three months for the newborn). The parents are very outdoorsy type people and would like their children to follow in their footsteps. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love of the outdoors, nature and being active! The family have a country house in Scotland where they go once every two months and would like someone to be able to embrace the outdoor life with their little one. This will be a sole charge role but on occasions dad will want to have the odd day with the daughter as he travels a lot for work. Both parents are very loyal and supportive of their nanny and ideally want someone who will be with them for the long term. The salary on offer for the role is very competitive and includes proxy parenting, extra babysitting, travel and some weekend cover.

Accommodation: Nanny flat with private bedroom, en-suite bathroom and separate sitting room with fully installed kitchenette (including fridge / freezer / oven / cooker etc)

General duties:

Everything child related
Making nutritional meals for the child
Keeping the childrens area neat and tidy
Potty training
Weaning
Outdoor activities
Arts and crafts
Nursery duties

Candidate requirements:

Experience working with babies and toddlers
Flexibility around travel with the family – Scotland once every two months, other holidays local and abroad during the summer and easter
Driving Licence – essential – vehicle will be provided
