We are looking for a kind, pro-active, energetic and flexible LIVE IN OR LIVE OUT nanny to help a warm family in South West London and support the parents with their 16-month-old girl and also their baby boy who was born at the end of January. The role will be sole charge of the toddler as well as supporting with some light housekeeping around the children, cooking for the children and general organisation when there is time. The mum will be on maternity leave until around September and then you will have sole charge of the baby. The older child will then start nursery part time.

The family are looking for a loving and calm nanny who loves being active and is able to manage an energetic household and who genuinely loves their job and spending time with children. You need to be confident to care for the baby as well as supporting with the toddler in time and have some enthusiasm to engage with the little girl in a positive and fun way.

You will be living in a beautiful home and will be given a lovely large bedroom with your own bathroom and kitchenette on a separate floor to the family. They want a nanny who is a self-starter who will be part of the family.

LOCATION: Parsons Green, SW6

START: March 2022

DAYS: Monday to Friday

HOURS: 7.30/8 am – 7 pm

PAY: Market rate salary depending on experience

EXPERIENCE: minimum of 8 years nannying experience with new-born babies and toddlers. It would be great if you are confident to care for up to 2 children and be able to manage their daily routine and take initiative. The mum will be around so it will be some shared care as she will be on maternity leave, but they need a sole charge nanny for the toddler. Supporting with light housekeeping, cooking for the children and all nursery duties and routines for the baby is included.

DUTIES:
• Preparing and cooking the children’s meals
• Sometimes taking the toddler to and from activities
• Keeping the children’s bedrooms and bathroom clean and tidy
• Laundry of the children’s clothes and bedding
• Keeping the kitchen, and any other room clean and tidy after use by you and the children (they have a cleaner that comes to do deep cleaning twice per week)
• Support with the toddler’s bath and bedtime routine
• Stimulate the toddler’s social development through conversation and play
• General organisation and light housekeeping when there is time
