Daily Nanny or Manny in Victoria, London

Role: Sporty & Academic Live out Nanny or Manny (Possible live in Mon-Thurs)

Days/Hours: 6.45 am -8.30pm with some time off in the day & possible early finish some Friday’s.

We are looking on behalf of a lovely family based in Belgravia for a switched on, upbeat, engaging, energetic, sporting and ideally academic Nanny / Manny with top notch skills to care for two very active boy’s of 10 & 12 years. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with children, be engaging, committed and fun. An ability to be flexible and travel is essential. Most travel is to the States or Europe.

They also need a candidate who is highly organised, proactive with plenty of initiative, excellent communication and takes pride in their time keeping. The role is live out but for their ideal candidate, they can offer part time live in accommodation between Monday - Thursday if the commute is too far given the hours.

Candidates for this role should be well educated and able to engage with older children while supporting them with their homework. Being boy’s they are very active and need a nanny to be extremely energetic, high energy and fun! An excellent & fluent command of English is absolutely essential and they prefer someone who is degree educated, has an academic background, worked in schools or with teeangers.

As the boy’s are at school for a large part of their day, the family would like the candidate to undertake nursery duties for the boy’s taking full responsibility for rooms, equipment and laundry. There may be some cooking for the boy’s shared with the full time housekeeper. The family has a small dog and needs a nanny who is comfortable with pets.

As the hours required are from 6.45am - 8.30pm they can offer 3-4 hours off in the day between 11am - 3pm. There is one early finish on a Friday per month while you can have the afternoon off. When traveling with the family the hours are generally 8am - 8pm but flexibility is required. The family have only ever had two long term nannies and are looking for their new ideal nanny to commit and stay long term. They would like a nanny to start fairly immediately but are happy to wait for notice for their perfect candidate.

A driver is required for the position.

Nanny / Manny Duties

Nursery duties - maintaining the childrens rooms, clothing, equipment & toy’s.
Cooking fresh and healthy meals for the boy’s as needed.
Engaging with the school, school runs and pickups.
Planning activities , outing’s and playdates for the children
Children’s admin including appointments, booking club’s, sorting their wardrobes and similar.
Supporting homework, home learning, literacy and encouraging a love of learning in the children.
Travel with the family during school holidays which will include beach and skiing holidays within Europe or to the States.

To be considered for this role you must:

Have 5+ years’ professional experience with children
Be highly educated and preferably degree qualified
Have excellent contactable references
Be fluent in English language and literacy
Possess (or be willing to get) an up to date DBS check
