Daily Nanny in Stoke Newington, London

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and relaxed nanny to look after an 11-month-old baby and her 3.5-year-old big sister on 4 days a week, Monday to Thursday starting as soon as possible.

It is essential you have toddler and baby experience from 11 months upwards and feel confident to take care of two children. The role will be sole charge and the 3.5-year-old attends nursery on 3 days from 9 am to 4 pm so you will be responsible for walking her there in the mornings and then picking her up in the afternoons.

The parents would love their nanny to be active and take the children out in all weathers and do lots of fun and engaging activities. Their ideal nanny will have big smiles, will enjoy singing and bring lots of joy.

The family are looking for a kind and caring nanny who loves being outdoors and who can manage two energetic and fun girls whilst supporting with their development. They would also love their nanny to enjoy cooking fresh, healthy, and creative meals for the girls and support with nanny duties only. You need to have a fluent level of English and be COVID vaccinated.

LOCATION: Between Dalston and Stoke Newington, N16

START: ASAP

DAYS: Monday to Thursday

HOURS: 8 am – 6 pm

PAY: Approx. £17.40-18 gross per hour/£13/14 net

EXPERIENCE: minimum of 5 years nannying experience with pre-school age, toddlers and babies from 11 months as well as being able to support with toilet training, weaning, and following routines. Experience with working with two young children and focussing on their development and milestones. An interest in cooking fresh healthy meals for children is ideal.

PERSONALITY: calm, experienced, knowledgeable, caring, energetic, loving, outdoorsy, active, nurturing, kind, fun, positive, flexible, patient person who is well-organised, tidy, trustworthy, independent, "can do" attitude, responsible, punctual, warm, positive, and motivated.

DUTIES:
• All nursery duties
• Cook fresh healthy meals for the children and support with weaning
• Take baby out for daily walks to the park or playground
• Nursery drop off and pick up on three days (walking distance)
• Stimulate both children’s social development through conversation and play
• Follow and support with routines e.g., sleep times, bath time
• All nursery duties and keep children’s areas tidy and organised (they have a cleaner that comes to do deep cleaning twice per week).
• Stimulate through play, music, books, art
• Organise playdates and be confident to take the girls out to activities and playgroups. Research what is going on and plan their week.
